RESTASIS® (Cyclosporine Ophthalmic Emulsion) 0.05% Prescription

® Are Different From
Artificial Tears

It is important to understand that RESTASIS® and RESTASIS MultiDose® are not artificial tears. They are prescription medicines.

Artificial tears, such as REFRESH® OPTIVE™ Advanced Lubricant Eye Drops , are over-the-counter lubricants that help moisten the eyes and provide temporary symptom relief, but they do not increase the eyes' ability to produce their own tears. However, they can be helpful as RESTASIS® or RESTASIS MultiDose® begin to work to increase production of your own real tears. Allow 15 minutes between the use of each product.

Make an appointment with an eye doctor to see if RESTASIS® or RESTASIS MultiDose® might be right for you.
